Fairfield Little League Girls Softball will be awarding up to three financial scholarships to seniors who participated in our program and will be attending an accredited college, university, or other higher education institution upon graduation.

To be considered for one of these scholarships, applicants are required to submit the following items:

An essay containing a summary of your FLLGS involvement, your personal goals, community service activities and involvement in school activities. This information should highlight why you feel deserving of the scholarship.

Two brief letters of recommendation: One letter must be from a high school guidance counselor, teacher/faculty member, coach or a school administrator; the other letter must be from an employer, community leader, neighbor or close friend.

Full Academic Transcript, including grades from the current school year (2024-2025)

To qualify for the Rich Barone Scholarship, the online application and required documentation must be submitted by 6:00 PM ET, Friday, May 23, 2025. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted for consideration.

Applicants that have been selected for a scholarship will be notified by Wednesday, June 4 and be presented with a check during Championship Night on Friday, June 6.
